The SPAD Experience
St. Peters Academy of Dance, SPAD, is committed to educating each student about the critical aspects of dance, building self-esteem, confidence, and discipline. Students are encouraged to participate in an atmosphere that is both positive and professional.
READY, SET, MOVE AT SPAD
This is a creative movement and music class for toddlers and their grownup. The class consists of 3 sections: ENGAGE, EXPLORE AND EXPRESS.

The ENGAGE section is a playful exploration of music, nursery rhymes, lap play and parachute fun.
​
The EXPLORE section is set up as a circuit around the room with obstacles like stepping stones, tunnels and sensory activities designed to encourage investigation and build coordination skills.
​
The EXPRESS section of the class involves free dance movement which develops creativity with instruments, feathers and bubbles.
Participating in READY, SET, MOVE with the support of a grown up can make a significant contribution to play, development and learning.

The office is well organized and “always” staffed by individuals who are sensitive to parental issues. Every effort is made to keep the parents informed and prepared.

Welcome to St. Peters Academy of Dance where each dancer receives a personalized, professional, and educational instruction. A full-service, year round dance studio established in 1988, providing tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and pointe classes for children of all ages from beginners to advanced. From beginner to advanced, our goal is to provide each dancer with educational and personalized instruction.
